London Olympics Day 6: Looks like a good day in offing for India as heavyweights jump into action

Into the 7th day of the London Olympics, India till now have had mixed luck at the mega event. With few stalwarts already out of contention, Indians would look to make the day count and avoid any further casualty.

Here are the Indians stars who would be seen in action today

Shooting:
India open its day with the shooting event with Ronjan Sodhi with when he takes part in his double trap qualification event.
Timings: 1:30 pm
The Royal Artillery Barracks will see more of Indians when Vijay Kumar takes to the range for the Men's 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Qualification Stage 1
Timings 3 pm

Boxing:

Indian boxers would take to the Excel Centre trying to qualify for the quarterfinal round.

Men's Middleweight (75kg) Round of 16: Vijender Singh vs Terrell Gausha (USA)

Badminton:
India’s single campaign in single’s event has gone well till now and they would enter the Wembley Arena in a bid to enter the semifinals.

Women's Singles Quarterfinal: Saina Nehwal vs Tine Baun (Denmark)
Timings: 6:30pm
Men's Singles Quarterfinal: P Kashyap vs Lee Chong Wie (Malaysia) 
Timings: 9:30pm

Tennis:
Saving the mixed doubles event, India has been eliminated from all the other events. So with an aim to keep India challenge alive at the Olympics, India’s mixed doubles team of Sania Mirza and Leander Paes would roll their campaign and would aim to keep India’s hopes alive.
