IPL Match 67--Delhi Daredevils vs Royal Challengers Bangalore: Players to watch out for…

Delhi Daredevils will host Royal Challengers Bangalore in the ongoing Indian Premier League. All the pressure in this match will be on the team from Bangalore because Delhi has already qualified for the playoffs. Delhi however, will be looking to win the match because they would want to be in the top two teams as that will give them two shots for the finals.

RCB are in a dangerous position, the last year’s finalist have not been convincing to say the least. RCB are on 15 points and need to win both their remaining matches.

Let’s have a look at some of the players who can make the difference in today’s match.

Delhi Daredevils:

Virender Sehwag: Sehwag has played some breath taking innings in this year’s IPL. He has been at his menacing best and has won game singlehandedly. But from the past three innings he has struggled to get a start. A lot depends on him and Sehwag will be looking to get his touch back before the all important playoffs.

David Warner: Warner and Sehwag make the most dangerous opening pair of this tournament. Warner has been throwing away his wickets in the past few matches and he will be really disgusted at that. Warner is an explosive batsman and RCB will have to dismiss him early.

Varun Aaron: He bowled beautifully against the Kings XI Punjab. He joined the team late as he was suffering from injury but has bowled well since the time he has joined the Delhi team. He will have his work cut out against the like of Gayle and AB.

Umesh Yadav: He was the man-of-the-match in the last game that he played for Delhi. Yadav likes bowling quick and is thriving under the captaincy of Sehwag. He is a kind of bowler who can rattle the opposition.

Royal Challengers Bangalore:

Chris Gayle: It’s a big game for RCB and their big players will have to step up to the occasion. Gayle is the current holder of the orange cap and has been in great form of late. Gayle is one of the most dangerous T20 batsmen and his presence on the crease can give any captain nightmares.

Virat Kohli: He has had a disappointing tournament so far and he will have to start performing as it might get too late. Kohli excels under pressure and it is a perfect time for him to show his worth. No boundary is big for him once he starts hitting the ball cleanly.

Zaheer Khan: He has bowled well with the new ball, but he will have his task cut-out against Sehwag and Warner. Zaheer is very experienced and he will know that it is his job to make early in-roads into Delhi batting lineup.

Muttiah Muralitharan: Murali has been bowling wonderfully well and has been among wickets. He has always been hard to hit and that shows in his economy rate. Delhi has a strong batting line-up and if anybody can stop their rampage it is this man.
