Garima Choudhary becomes lone Indian judoka to qualify for London Olympics

New Delhi: Garima Choudhary became the only Judoka from India to have made the cut for the 2012 London Olympics through a continental quota place. She finished seventh in the Asian Judo Championships in Tashkent, Uzbezikistan recently and has qualified for the 63 kgs weight category on the basis of the latest rankings released by International Judo Federation. Currently ranked 88th in the World, Garima who is from Haryana accumulated 34 points from four different competitions she took part in and earned some very points points at the Warsaw World Cup in Poland and World Championships in Paris last year.
