New Delhi: The moment Yuvraj Singh landed in Delhi from London with his mother on Monday, the cricket fraternity around the world is wishing him quick and healthy recovery. The latest to join the group are the stars from Delhi Daredevils, including Virender Sehwag, Kevin Pietersen and Mahela Jayawardene.

The captain of the Delhi Daredevils, Virender Sehwag, said, “I am very happy that Yuvraj has come back to India. I have been in continuous touch with him and have been following his treatment. I will personally go and meet him very soon. He is a dear friend and we all are with him.”

Yuvraj had been recuperating in London after undergoing treatment for three months at the Boston Institute of Cancer Research. His former Kings XI team-mate and captain of the Sri Lanka, Mahela Jayawardene said, “I have played with Yuvraj and know that he is a champion cricketer as well as a champion human being.”

“I have managed to get the details on his treatment time and again and know that he is on a route to recovery”, added   Jayawardene.

His long-time nemesis on the field Kevin Pietersen said, “Yuvraj is a fighter and I am sure he will make a strong comeback. We have been tough competitors on field, but off the field we are great friends.”

“It will be a great thing to watch him on the field again. Yuvraj’s illness has once again showed us the importance of staying together”, said the explosive English batsman.
