I wanted to please my mom and my family with my performance: Ravindra Jadeja

Visakhapatnam: Ravindra Jadeja gave a glimpse of why he is the costliest player of IPL Season V when the all-rounder not only starred with the bat, making (48 off 29 balls), but later returned with the career best bowling figure of five for 16 to give Chennai Super Kings an easy win over Deccan Chargers at the Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy stadium here on Saturday.

Ecstatic about his performance, Jadeja said that he was quite happy with his performance and that he really wanted to please his mom and his family. "I am happy with what I did on the field today. I batted well. I just wanted to rotate the strike and play the shots at the right time. Taking five wickets is an achievemnt in any formof the game and I am happy about that. I just didn't want to give easy runs. That was the motive when I went bowl and things fell in place," said Jadeaja.

Meanwhile Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni said that he was very happy to come back after losing the first game. "It's always better to be on the winning side. We just wanted to put enought runs on the board initially. In dressing room, we thought 150-160 would have been good to defend. We got 192 and that was quite good," said Dhoni.

Losing captain Cameroon White too were in all praise for Jadeja and said that the left-hander shifted the momentum in CSK's favour. "He played really well. Chennai are very good side. They played better cricket," said White.
