Yusuf Pathan eyeing a comeback in Indian side

New Delhi: Yusuf Pathan has given strong reasons for the selectors to discuss his name ahead of the Asia Cup. India selector will have a meeting tomorrow and will surely have the explosive batsman’s name in their mind. Pathan was suffering from a knee injury and that kept him out. He has announced his comeback after a scintillating knock of 114 runs in which he hit six towering sixes.

Pathan had a bad series in the West Indies where his technique was exposed by the West Indian fast bowlers. But, he will be a strong contender for the upcoming Asia cup as he has shown that he is very efficient as a cricketer on the low and slow pitches. And the Dhaka wicket will provide him that.

Pathan is currently representing his home team Baroda in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and if he continues to score runs than his name will definitely come under recognition.

Pathan is also hopeful for the upcoming Twenty20 world cup which will be played in sri Lanka later this year.
