Gurgoan: Toppers in stroke-play, Ravi’s Ruffians rode rough-shod over the rest of the opposition in the match-play round too, to claim the Gurgoan Citadel title in the Team Golf League 2013 at the Golden Greens Golf Club here on Saturday.

With six of their players notching perfect three scores against the opposition, the Ruffians proved they are worthy contenders for the ‘Mightiest Golf Gang in India’ crown when they tee off in the National finals to be held in Bangalore in December.

With four of the Ruffian golfers playing to single digit handicaps, there was not much the opponents could do. Ravi’s Ruffians tallied 21 followed by Aag with 14. Third spot was taken by The Storm who tallied 6.5 and finishing with a score of 6 was British Golf Society.

“We expected these results. Now we look forward to winning the national championship in Bangalore,” said War Lord of Ravi’s Ruffians, Ravi Puri.
