KKR beat RCB by 6 wickets to register fourth win

lynn304Man of the Match Chris Lynn’s 62 * weighed down the efforts of Virat Kolhi (68*) led RCB as young Shubman Gill struck a boundary of Kuldeep Yadav to finish the match for his side. This was KKR’s 4th win the competition so far and they are placed at 4th postion now with 8 points under their belt.

On Sunday at the M Chinnaswami Stadium in Bangalore, RCB batted first and scored a 175 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. In response, despite a rain interruption, KKR got to the total in 19.1 overs itself riding on the knock of Chris Lynn who remained unbeaten. KKR lost 4 wickets in the process of getting to their target.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore have a tough road ahead as they remain at the 7th position with 2 wins in 7 games and some serious death bowling and fielding issues to address.

RCB play their next match against the Mumbai Indians next on Tuesday (May 1).  With both teams having just a couple of wins alongside their name, this could be one cracker of a contest. MI won the first time these two teams met in this year’s IPL.
