But Steve Smith is not over yet. He will fancy his chances again in the 2nd test match. He is a batsman who gets quickly adjusted to any kind of pitch, as he showed in his score of 109 runs in the 2nd innings. The Australian captain will again look to daunt India in the Bangalore test too. He is the player to watch for Australia in the 2nd test match.

• David Warner - The dashing Australian opener got off to good starts but he couldn’t convert it as he would have liked to. But in the 2nd test at Bangalore he would be prepared to score big runs. Australia need runs from David Warner if they want to be ahead in this series. Warner has the experience to play in these Indian conditions. He is the player to watch out for in the 2nd test match.

• Mitchell Starc – The fast and furious bowler from Australia knows this ground well as he plays for IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore. Starc will be etching to pick up Virat Kohli once again in the Bangalore test. He picked up Kohli for zero in the 1st test match. Kohli Vs Starc would be a great battle to watch. And it will be interesting to see who wins the battle. Starc will be the bowler to watch out for. Starc can bat lower down the order. His 61 runs in the 1st innings came handy for Australia in the first Test. He is a good all rounder for his team.

• Steve O’Keefe – The man of the moment for the Australian team. His dramatic spell gave his team 1st ever win on Indian soil after the 2004 series. No one expected that O’ Keefe will take 12 wickets in the 1st test match. He will be again roaring to rattle the India batting line up.
