It will be great fun to bat alongside Dhoni and torment the bowlers once again, says Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj Singh backIf anyone who can be singled out to be the main reason for the World Cup 2011 victory, the honours go to none other than Yuvraj Singh for his all-round performance which saw India lift the cup after 28 years. Along with Yuvraj, MS Dhoni is the other name which comes to mind following his heroics on the night of the final to see the team home with a gutsy 91*.

And we all know what happens when those two come together, "Dhammaka!". Although the two players have had their differences in the past, when it comes to playing for the team, they set their differences aside to forge a partnership like no other which has taken the side leaps and bounds to glory.

While the world has been busy paying tributes to the captain MS Dhoni, Yuvraj was quick to point out the rise of the fearless MS Dhoni once again when he first burst onto the scene. He went on to add that no captain in the world has won all the ICC trophies that are on offer and have a track record like Dhoni does in leading the side. He also said that it would be great fun to bat alongside him once again as it would bring back fond memories from the past when the two young lads back then took on every bowling attack and tormented them across the park reaching great heights and growing in stature together.

With Yuvraj back in prime form and staking his claim on the national side and with Dhoni now having the license to go all out, it would be a very interesting proposition to see how things unfold and whether the duo would be able to rekindle the magic that brought them glory earlier in their careers.
