With Jharkhand making it to the semi-finals of the Ranji Trophy this year, the cricketing fraternity is abuzz with theories and speculations as to what might be the reason for the change in their fortunes and how the tide has shifted in their favour this time round.

Busting the myths and brushing aside the various theories that went afloat in the media, two of the vital cogs in the team who have been largely responsible for this dream run, young Ishan Kishan with the bat and Shahbhaz Nadeem with the ball went on record to laud the efforts of Indian limited overs skipper MS Dhoni in boosting the morale of the team and grooming the young side with tactical inputs.

Ishan was asked to change his stance by MSD in order to enhance his game and score more freely. He did just that, during the pre-season camps, he worked closely with MS Dhoni and the batting coach of the Jharkhand team to work on his stance and it paid huge dividends for the team as well as on a personal note helping the team reach the semi-finals where they face the reigning champions Mumbai.

Leading the wicket takers tally is Shahbhaz Nadeem who has also credited MS Dhoni for his success with Dhoni sharing a piece of his mind with the spinner asking him to restrict early on in the innings wearing out the batsmen and later go for the kill which worked out in his favour with him playing a key role in Jharkhand's success until now.

One would only hope that these two young lads continue their good run of form and knock the doors of the nation side real soon. The other positive to take from this is the growth of MS Dhoni as a mentor groomig youngsters and showing them the right path. These are definitely good signs for Indian cricket which is working relentlessly to regain the lost popularity due to its scandals and tainted image.
