ONGC FC’s Eric Brown signs with Prayag United Sports Club

New Delhi: Libero Sports client and ONGC FC striker Eric Brown is on his way to Kolkata for two seasons, having recently signed with Prayag United SC. Brown had a good first I-League season for the Oilmen scoring 7 goals in the I-League and helping the team to a mid-table finish.

After being released by Mumbai FC with the arrival of Yusif Yakubu at the end of the Federation Cup, ONGC FC offered Brown the opportunity to play in the I-League. Despite joining the team after 4 matches of the first round, Brown struck a lethal partnership up front with Japanese counterpart Katsumi Yusa. Brown won 4 Man-of-the-Match awards, which helped turn the team’s fortunes along with the arrival of Santosh Kashyap as coach.

Arvind Narayan, Libero Sports Partner and Nejime’s FIFA Licensed player agent said on his client’s appointment with the Champions, “Eric is a quality player and will support Prayag’s ambitions of creating a title challenging squad. We wish him all the best!”
