In the 57kg final, Jaismine stunned Paris Olympics silver medallist Julia Szeremeta of Poland with a 4-1 win (30-27, 29-28, 30-27, 28-29, 29-28). After losing the opening round, she adjusted her rhythm, using sharp jabs and controlled distance to dominate the bout.
Debutant Minakshi Hooda followed with a golden triumph in the 48kg category, defeating Kazakhstan’s Nazym Kyzaibay, a seasoned Olympian, by the same 4-1 margin. Composed and clinical, the 24-year-old used her reach effectively, neutralising Kyzaibay’s aggression to avenge her World Cup loss.
