Ireland-Hungary play goalless draw Moscow: Tottenham Hotpsur midfielder Niko Kranjcar is to join Ukrainian team Dynamo Kiev after he finishes playing for Croatia at Euro 2012, Kranjcar told Croatian newspaper Sportske Novosti Wednesday.

Kranjcar has struggled to hold down a first-team place amid fierce competition in his three-year stay at the English club, including from fellow Croatia player Luka Modric.
"The clubs have already come to an agreement, and only minor details regarding my personal contract are left to be settled. The contract will be signed in the next few days," Kranjcar said.

He said that he is not personally involved in the negotiations, in order to allow him to focus on Euro 2012.

Dynamo Kiev previously tried to sign Kranjcar in 2003, when he was playing for Dinamo Zagreb, but the player rejected their offer.

If he moves to the Ukrainian team, Kranjcar would play alongside Croatia holding midfielder Ognjen Vukojevic, who moved there from Dinamo Zagreb in 2008.

Since joining Tottenham from Portsmouth in 2009, Kranjcar has made 71 appearances for the North London club, scoring 12 goals.

Dynamo Kiev narrowly missed out on a 14th Ukrainian title last season after losing a fierce battle for the trophy to Shakhtar Donetsk and will enter next season's Champions League in the third qualifying round. (IANS)
