Chandigarh: Amidst the cheers and jubilations of the spectators, the 49th National Artistic & Inline Roller Hockey Skating Championship concluded gracefully at KBDAV-7, Chandigarh. The championship started on 3rd February 2012 with the arrival of 20 Teams and 500 Skaters from nearly all states of India. The food, boarding & lodging of the players was taken care of by the school authorities.

 

Former President, Roller Skating Federation of India, Shri Pardeep Ganeriwal was the Chief Guest on the Valedictory Function. It was a blessing for the players to get the awards and medals at the hands of revered Shri Pardeep Ganeriwal.

Among other RSFI Senior members who witnessed the arrangements of the championship were President, Roller Skating Federation of India, Shri Arun Walia, Vice President, RSFI, Mrs. Madhu Bahl, Shri Inder Pal Singh, Patron & Senior Member, RSFI, Shri Jagpal Singh, Patron & Senior Member, RSFI, Shri Mangat Dhani, Senior member. The technical committee members, coaches, managers, referees conducted the championship with a team spirit to make it a mega success.

Among the Inline Roller Hockey Matches, the title was clinched by Haryana Roller Hockey Skaters beating Andhra Pradesh.

Artistic Skaters amazed the spectators with their graceful moves on the wheels. The winners of the Artistic Skating were given medals, trophies at the hands of Shri Pardeep Ganeriwal, Former President, Roller Skating Federation of India.

President Roller Skating Federation of India Sh. Arun Walia and Vice President Roller Skating Federation of India Principal Madhu Bahl stood by all the Technical Officials, Senior Officials, Skating Coordinators and Referees to guide them and motivate them throughout the championship. Chief Guest, Sh. Pardeep Ganeriwal, Former President, RSFI expressed his immense satisfaction on the successful conclusion of the 49th National Artistic & Inline Roller Hockey Championship.

Vice President, RSFI, Principal Madhu Bahl says, “KBDAV-7 has been a host to series of skating championship conducted by RSFI. KBDAV-7 staff members and RSFI Members have worked tirelessly day & night to make this championship a mega success.”
