New Delhi: Sania Mirza will lead the Indian Senior Women Tennis Team in the Federation Cup Asia-Oceania-Grade-I & II; scheduled to be held at Shenzhen City, China, from 30th January, 2012 to 4th February, 2012, confirmed the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
Sania Mirza will captain the team of Isha Lakhani, Rituja Sampatro Bhosale, Prerna Bhambri and Sharmada Balu.
The players will be accompanied by Mr. Enrico Peperno- Coach, Shri Rohit Rajpal- Non-playing Captain, and Shri Anand Kumar, Physiotherapist.
The Seven (07) members of the Indian Team, except Mirza, will leave on 26th January, 2012 to China. Sania Mirza who is presently playing in the Australian Open, will join the team in China later.
