My best phase is yet to come: Yuvraj

Gurgaon: Indian batting sensation Yuvraj Singh, who made a comeback after a long injury layoff, feels that he is currently in the learning stage and the best phase of career is yet to come. Yuvraj who suffered a fracture on his left index finger on the fourth day of the second Test against England was ruled out for four weeks has been selected for the home test series against West Indies star ting November 6. 
The star all rounder, who has been in and out of the Indian Test series now, wants to concentrate on his test career and wants to retire as a test cricketer. “I want to be remembered as a test cricketer. I have always tried to get runs in the longer format of the game, and gave it my best shot but was not able to do so, because of my injury concerns,” added Yuvraj.
Yuvraj feels that over the years has matured as a player and he wants to put all his bad days behind him and concentrate on his upcoming years. “I am still young and have lot of cricket left in me. My best days are yet to come. I am fully fit to get back to cricket and ready to go. I had history of injuries in the past but now I think my career is going in the right direction,” added the 30 year old cricketer.
“I would like to score big in the upcoming series and cement my place in the test side. I want to reform my test career,” said Yuvraj.
Asked about India team’s debacle in England, Yuvraj said, “Yes we did suffer in England, but they struggled here in India. Home advantage always has a big role to play in any series.”
