It's Lisicki vs Bartoli in women's singles final at Wimbledon

After she ran through her opponent in the first set, Sabine lost

Third set turned out to be a high-voltage drama as both of them were trying their level best to out do each other. The Polish continued her dominance and won the first three games. Her accuracy and placements started doing wonders for her and were looking good enough, but twist in the tail came in when Lisicki came back from behind to make it 5-4.



With a break needed to stay in the contest, Radwanska responded well and with just two points away from clinching the contest, Lisicki fired one of her nine aces. Later the Polish committed a couple of errors in the 15th game to hand over the match to Lisicki.

The 15th seed Frenchwoman dominated to lead the first set 3-0 and later ended up winning it by 6-1. The script remained the same for the second set as she broke early to earn the place in finals for the second time after 2007, when she lost to Venus Williams in straight sets.
