Ranji Trophy: Madhya Pradesh defeat Bengal by 138 runsIndore: A fine spell of bowling from Ishwar Pandey helped Madhya Pradesh beat Bengal by 138 runs in a Group A Ranji Trophy match being played at  Holkar Cricket Stadium. Pandey finished with the figures of 5-58.

Bengal needed to bat for only 58 overs to save the Test match but the whole team was bowled out in the 46th over.

Earlier, the two openers, Shreevats Goswami and P Bhattacharjee started the innings well adding 43 runs to the total, they scored at six runs an over and it looked as if Bengal will achieve a draw pretty easily.

But things changed drastically after the first wicket fell, as Pandey and other bowlers ran through the Bengal batting line up.
