New Delhi: Young sensation Virat Kohli and Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar will be honoured along with other players by the BCCI at its annual awards function to be held in Mumbai on November 21.
Sachin will get the Polly Umrigar Award for completing his 100th international century and Kohli will be awarded a trophy and a cheque of Rs 5 lakhs for being India's top international cricketer of 2011-12.
VVS Laxman, who retired recently, will also be felicitated in the function. The other former players who will be felicitated in the function are Vinoo Mankad, Ghulam Ahmed, ML Jaisimha, Vijay Merchant, Vijay Manjrekar, Dattu Phadkar and Dilip Sardesai.
Former Indian captain and outstanding opening batsman Sunil Gavaskar will be awarded with the prestigious Col CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award.
