Indian eves defeat Pakistan by 18 runs to win Asia CupGuangzhou: Indian eves defeated Pakistan by 18 runs to win the Asian Cricket Council Women's Twenty20 Asia Cup. In a  low scoring match India posted a total of 81 and then bowled out Pakistan for 63 runs in the 20th over to win the match.

India won the toss and elected to bat first, they lost their first two wickets with only four runs on the board. Poonam Raut (25) and Harmanpreet Kaur (20) put together a good partnership of 32 runs for the third wicket, but both batters got out in quick sucession after that.

Indian tail-enders couldn’t do anything and India were bowled out on the final delivery of the match.

In reply, Pakistan got off to a descent start as they made 31 runs for the loss of one wicket. But soon Indian bowlers came to the party and took quick wickets to halt Pakistan’s chase. All the Indian bowlers who bowled took at least one wicket as India emerged victorious.
