New Delhi: Ace Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal stormed into the semifinals of the Denmark Super Series Badminton Championship with a comprehensive win over local favourite Tine Baun on Friday.
Nehwal, London Olympics bronze dominated the match from the onset and beat the two times All England Champions 21-10,21-11.
The third seeded Indian, playing her first tournament after London Olympics was aggressive note and never allowed the Danish shuttler to settle in the match.
Such was Nehwal’s domination that Saina finished up the game in less than 30 minutes. The fourth seeded Indian picked up points at will and never allowed the fifth seeded Danish player any breathing space
