Rio 2016 unveils Shooting sport scheduleThe Shooting Sport schedule of the XXXI Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, has been unveiled. 

A total of 390 athletes will compete in Shooting sport events during Rio 2016. Almost all Olympic quota places have already been distributed. The last 12 slots available will be assigned at the 2016 European Championships in 10m events to be held in Gyoer (HUN), from February 22nd to February 28th.

Twenty-four additional Tripartite Commission Invitation Places are available to eligible National Olympic Committees for the Shooting events, and will be distributed by the Tripartite Commission according to the allocation procedure and regulations.

The first Shooting sport final, the 10m Air Rifle Women, will take place on August 6th at 10:30 AM.

The fifteen Rio 2016 Shooting sport finals will be conducted according to the following schedule.
