Delhi State Shooting Championship: Yujvender wins gold in 10-m air pistol

New Delhi: Delhi Police shooter Yujvender Singh won the 10-m air pistol gold with a score of 569/600 score while Love Karan with just one point behind at 568 had to satisfy with the silver medal in the Delhi State Shooting Championship held at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range, New Delhi. The bronze medal also went to Delhi Police's Sharvan Kumar.


In 50-m Free pistol event, Yujvender with a score of 542/600 won the gold while silver medal also went to Delhi police as Sharvan kumar scored 519, while Love Karan won the bronze with a score of 515.


Meanwhile, Farid Ali won three medals, including one gold. Farid participated in five disciplines of the competition, including .22 free pistol, 50 m, 25 m standard pistol and.22, .32 and .22 center fire pistol rapid fire.

Farid shot for 520/600 points in the .22 standard pistol event to win the gold medal, while in .22 rapid fire pistol event he had to be content with the silver medal., Delhi Police's D.P.Singh shot 499/600 and won the gold medal and bronze medal went to Amit Kr Prasad.

While in .32 center-fire pistol event Amit Kumar Prasad scored 553/600 to win the gold, while Delhi Police's DeerghaPal Singh won the silver with 545/600 points. Farid Ali won the bronze in this event with 538/600 points.

Meanwhile Nausheen Fatima won four medals, including a gold in 25-m sports pistol with a score of 546/600 points while she won a silver in 10-meter air pistol event. Soumya Seth won the 10 meter Air pistol gold and bronze medal went to Aarushi Verma.
