New Delhi: An emerging cricketer from Jharkhand who led the Indian Cricket team in the recently concluded U-19 World Cup held in Bangladesh, today became the second cricketer after senior India batsman Suresh Raina to have been exclusively signed by country’s leading sports management group IOS Sports & Entertainment for a period of three years.
The 17 year old-left handed batsman and wicket-keeper from Jharkhand who started playing cricket on the streets of Patna, made his debut in the Ranji Trophy against Assam in December 2014 while playing from Jharkhand. Ishan has played with MS Dhoni at the Vijay Hazare Trophy and is also a part of team Gujarat Lions for the upcoming IPL 2016. In 2015, he took over the captaincy of the India U-19 team during the triangular series in Sri-Lanka and convinced selectors with his leadership skills by winning the series.
The promising Captain Ishan has signed a three year commercial deal with IOS for his worldwide representation rights. With this association IOS will manage Ishan's endorsements and brand associations, corporate profile, patents and digital rights, images, visibility on social networking sites and merchandise.

In the first class cricket, Ishan has scored 736 runs in 10 matches including one century and five half-centuries.
