Kolkata: South Eastern Railway Body Building Team emerged Champion in the 30th All India Railways Body Building Championship held at Raipur, South East Central Railway from 19th to 21st February, 2016.
As many as 12 Zonal Railways and Production Units from all over the Indian Railways participated in the championship. With this victory, SER Body Building Team has won the Championship Title in the three consecutive years in the All India Railways level.
Shri A K Goel, General Manager, South Eastern Railway felicitated the Winner SER’s Body Building Team and encouraged the team to keep intact their outstanding performances.
Payel Chaudhury, Kabaddi Player of South Eastern Railway represented India in the recently held SAF Games in Guwahati. The Indian Women Kabaddi Team won the Gold Medal in SAF Games.
