Guwahati: Afghanistan’s Mahmood Haidari won the Men under 58kg Taekwondo at 12th South Asian Games in Shillong. Gajendra Parihar of India won Silver medal and Sunil Poudel of Nepal won Bronze medal.

Afghanistan’s Mohsen Rezaei and Rohullah Nikpa won Gold in under 54 kg and 68 kg Male category on Saturday last. Silver medal won by Abrar Khan of India while Doten Dorji of Bhutan and T.R. Dharmapriya of Sri Lanka won Bronze medal under 54 kg category.

In Naveed Khan of Pakistan won Silver and P.S. Hettiarachi of Sri Lanka and Naveen of India won Bronze under Male 68 kg category.

Pakistan’s Yasmeen M. Khan won Gold medal under 46 kg Female category. Regina Karki of Nepal won Silver medal while Wargmu Karma of Bhutan and Munni Sumana of Bangladesh won Bronze medal.
