India beat Pakistan to retain Kabaddi World Cup

kabbadiLudhiana: Defending champions India trounced archrivals Pakistan to complete to retain the Kabaddi World Cup and complete a hat-trick of titles at the Guru Nanak Stadium here on Saturday.

India beat Pakistan 59-22. The hosts dominated the match from the onset and never allowed their opponents to settle in. 

India were leading 33-9 at halftime. Pakistan tried to force a comeback in the match, but India maintained their hold on the match.

The win saw Indian Team getting rich by Rs. 2 crores, whereas the runners-up pocketed Rs. 1 crore.
