Chandigarh: Namdhari XI beat SGGS Club, Chandigarh by 2-0 in the 46th SN Vohra All India Gurmit Memorial Hockey Tournament being played at Hockey Stadium, Sector 42 in Chandigarh, on Monday.

The goals were scored in the 16th and 19th minutes of the match by Namdhari XI. The goal scorers of the match were Gagandeep Singh and Bhagat Singh, respectively, while SGGS Club, Chandigarh could not manage a single goal.

In the second match, Chandigarh XI beat BSF in a closely contested match by 2-1.The goal scorers of the match were Sahibjeet and Amit in the 21st and 65th minute, respectively. BSF could manage a single goal through Sanjeev Kumar in the 30th minute.
