Chandigarh: Aryan Dhaneshwar will lock horns with Siddhant Thakur in the final of Under-15 boys’ category in the Chandigarh State Sub Junior and Junior Badminton Championships here on Friday.

Dhaneshwar defeated Aaditya Sharma 21-7 21-15 in the semi-final while Aryan beat Sanyam Grover 21-14 21-10, for in the last four stage.

In the girls' U-17 category, Ishita beat Sarushi Kanwar 21-8 21-16, while Romil Negi registered a 21-10 21-12 win over Garima Singh to move into the final. Mili Verma, meanwhile, drubbed Mehak Verma 21-7 21-8 to seal a spot in the girls' U-13 final. She will face Ridhima Thapa, who edged out Tanya 21-12 21-14 in the semis.

In the boys' U-13 semifinals, Arjun Prakash humbled Balkaran Singh 21-12 21-13, while Moksh Saini got the better of Poonya Vashist 21-12 21-8.
