Noida: Kicking off the first league round of Football Match during Sanagthan 2016, which was played between students of Amity Global Business School Noida (AGBS Noida) Team and combined Team of Amity Institute of Education, Amity Institute of Behavioral and Actuarial Sciences and Amity School of Foreign Languages (AIE/AIBAS/ASFL) at Main Ground, University Campus, Sector 125 Noida, AGBS won the match 1-0, here on Friday.

Keeping the pressure up throughout the early stages, Shelly S Kangten of Team AGBS managed to open the score through some neat work from the left flank, in 15th minute of game itself.

Team AIE/ASIBAS.ASFL fought back tenaciously but amazing foot work by Team AGBS led to fine saves that denied an equalizer going into half time. Team AGBS held on and went into the half time break with a narrow 1-0 lead.

The second half started with a more determined and aggressive attitude but no goal could be scored by either of the teams.
With full time over, Team AGBS managed to lead the score with 1-0 and won the first match of League Round.

Second match was played between students of Amity Institute of Biotechnology (AIB) and combined team of Amity School of Actuarial Planning (ASAP) and Amity School of Design (ASD), wherein Vivek of Team AIB scored his first goal in 7th minute of the game, leading the score to 1-0.

During the second half, Sumit of Team AIB showed some amazing skills on field and took the score forward to 2-0 in 46th minute of the game.

Team AIB won the match 2-0.
