New Delhi: Amity Polo Cup (8 Goals) Polo tournament, the last tournament of the Delhi Spring Polo Season, started on Tuesday with participation from 6 teams (Pool A – Sahgal Stud, Bharat Polo, Rissala, Pool B- Sona Polo, Jindal Panther, 61 Cavalry).

The Tournament was inaugurated by Ms. Pooja Chauhan- Vice Chairperson, Amity Humanity Foundation.

The tournament will be played on half league basis. Top teams will be playing finals on Sunday, 06 Mar 2016 at the Jaipur Polo Ground.

Opening match of the tournament was played today at the Jaipur Polo Ground between Jindal Panther and 61 Cavalry in which Jindal Panther beat 61 Cavalry by 5 ½ goals to 2.

Simran Shergill scored 4 goals and Miguel Saravia scored one goal for Jindal Panther who started with ½ goal on handicap while Lt Col Ravi Rathore scored 2 goals for 61 Cavalry.
