Manchester United’s ‘Iloveunitedindia’ comes to India

Bangalore: The first ILOVEUNITEDINDIA, a unified fan-focussed event, will be held on the January 17, 2016 at Amphitheatre, UB city, Bangalore and will include a live screening of the Club’s much anticipated match against local rivals, Liverpool.

Attended by Manchester United Ambassador, Dwight Yorke and club legend, Quinton Fortune, the fan-focused event will also include entertainment, giveaways and competitions courtesy of the Club’s commercial partners.

Dwight and Quinton will take part in an on-stage Q&A, sharing personal anecdotes from their time at the Club, as well as offering their pre and post-match analysis of the game.

Manchester United’s Group Managing Director, Richard Arnold comments:

“Football is fast becoming a hugely popular sport in India and we are overwhelmed by the passion and support we receive from our 35 million followers in the country.

“The Club hosted a fan viewing party in Delhi earlier this year and the fans' fantastic response to this event lead to India being at the top of the list of destinations for our 2016 events.”

The event is free to attend and fans are asked to apply online for tickets by visiting www. ManUtd.com/ILoveUnitedIndia no later than 11th January 2016. Applications will then be entered into a ballot, with tickets issued at random. Successful applicants will be notified by email no later than 13th January 2016.

If one event wasn’t enough, Manchester United’s millions of Indian fans will also have the opportunity to show their support for the Club at a second ILOVEUNITEDINDIA event to be held at the end of February in Mumbai.
