Chandigarh: Divyanshi of GSSS-33 got first position, while Veerpal Kaur of GGS-26 and Amanjot of GMSSS-37 secured 2nd and 3rd positions respectively in the 100 metre event at the Chandigarh State Women Competition being organised by Sports Department, UT, Chandigarh from December 11 to 14.

Athletics

In the 100 Mtr event Divyanshi of GSSS-33 got first position. Veerpal Kaur of GGS-26 and Amanjot of GMSSS-37 secured 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.

Basketball

In the Semifinals played on 13-12-2014 at Sports Complex, Sec.42 GNPS-36 beat GGSC-26 BY 55/43. On the other hand PGGC Club-11 beat Athletic Club-7 by a big margin of 36/7.

In the matches played on 14-12-2014 for 3rd & 4th position GGSC-26 beat Athletic Club-7 by 48/17. Top scorers from the winning team were Kirti-21, Neha-13, Yuvita-6. Top scorers from losing side wereKensiya-13 and Hema-4. In the final match PGGC Club-11 beat GNPS-36 by 53/43. The Anju-23, Navneet-12 and Suman-10 were the top score from winning side and Sukhman-17, Akshita-11 and Amrit-7 were the top scorer of the losing team.

Kabaddi

In the final match GGSC-26 beat Dev Samaj College-45 by big difference of 40/14. In the hard line match PGGC-42 beat GSS Dhanas by 13/8 points.
