Chandigarh: The Chandigarh Golf Club teams won the inaugural edition of the DGC Junior Interclub golf tournament.The winning team consisting of Jairaj Sandhu, Jaiveer Singh, Karandeep Kochar and Aadil Bedi turned in a two day total of 455 ( best of 3 ). The event hosted by Delhi Golf Club was played on the 21st and 22nd August 2014 with a number of clubs fielding their top juniors.

The players faced the tough conditions at the one of the most prestigious golf facilities in India which has itself produced a number of Golf Icons like Shiv Kapur. The narrow fairways, thick undergrowths and forested areas were a daunting experience for the golfers some of whom were playing for the first time at this historic golf facility.
