Panchkula: Unibera 8 Ball, 9 Ball and 6 Red Snooker tournament for School Boys being held at Haryana Billiards Sector 11 Panchkula concluded on Saturday. Suyash Moorpana, Ankush Chauhan and Mehul Saini shared respective titles.

In the 6 Red Snooker final, Suyash defeated Ankush 3-1. In the first frame Suyash scored a break of 31 and 22 leaving no chance to Ankush and won the frame. In the 2nd frame Ankush reverted exhibiting brilliant potting and crafted a break of 35 to win the frame. But Suyash playing his best did not give any chance in the decider and closed the proceedings 2-1.

In the 8 Ball Pool final, Mehul Saini won from Suyash 4-2. In the first rack Mehul made a break-finish. Suyash replied with the same and cleared the second rack in one visit. However, third rack was a sea saw battle as both the players were playing safe but Mehul missed difficult cut on 8 ball and gave an easy chance to Suyash to pot and win the rack. Mehul trailing 2-1 played the next three racks exceptionally well to win the title.

In 9 Ball Pool final, Ankush Chauhan upset Sharad Chawla. Sharad missed the first rack when failed to pot ball-7 and Ankush cleared the rest to win the rack. In the 2nd rack Sharad played a good plant to pot 9 ball. Sharad struggled in next three racks and gave too many chances to Ankush which he capitalized and won the racks and match as well.
