Rishabh's 4-Wkt Haul helps ­­­­­Coca-Cola India XI beat Bangladesh U-17

New Delhi: Coca-Cola India XI defeated Bangladesh U-17 by 3 wickets in the exciting opening match of the Coca-Cola Cricket Cup International Series, played at L B Shastri Cricket Ground today.

Winning the toss, Coca-Cola India XI opted to ball first. The decision worked well for the Indian team as Bangladesh U-17 team bowled-out at 151 for eight wickets in 30 overs.

Bangladesh’s Pinak Ghosh (88) and his teammate Rabbi Hassan (30) led the batting line-up and took their team's score to respectable total. Rest of the batsmen failed to build stable partnerships with them and wickets fell in regular intervals. Coca-Cola India XI team’s Rishabh Drall and captain Muklit Bhatt displayed excellent bowling by taking four and three wickets respectively.

While chasing, Coca-Cola India XI’s batting line-up appeared confident. Prashant Vaishisht (37) and Daryl Ferrerio (32) steered their batting line-up and helped the team to achieve the target in 29.1 overs after losing seven wicket.

Bangladesh’s Afif Hussain and Siddiqur Rehman took two wickets each.

Rishabh Drall was adjudged the Man-of-the-Match for his excellent bowling performance.
