Srinagar: The 4th Vovinam Martial Art Championship is going to be held at Sher-e-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex, Srinagar J&K from 17th-20th May 2013. Championship will be organised by J&K Vovinam Association under the auspices of Vovinam Association of India. Around 800 players will participate in the 4-day tournament which features competition in different categories including sub-junior, junior and senior. Before the championship a technical seminar will also be organized.

Praveen Garg, General Secretary Vovinam Association of India informed that during the championship the best player will also be selected for the Indian Vovinam Team which will take part in the upcoming 3rd World Vovinam Championship which is going to be take place in Paris, France from 3rd to 7th July 2013.
