New Delhi, April 29. Defending champions - Sanskriti School, Chankayapuri set - up a summit clash with Delhi Public School, Noida tomorrow in the finals of the 3rd A. R. Khan Memorial inter - school Football Tournament - 2013 being held at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium here today.
In the 2nd semi - final match, Sanskriti School , Chankayapuri rode on the splendid heroics of goalee Zamir to enter in the finals after scoring a 1 - 0 victory over spritied Moti Lal Sports School, Rai.
The all important winning goal was scored by star striker Kshitiz Darwari in the 39th minute of the proceedings. In closing session of the game, Rai School mounted heavy pressure their opponents through good moves from flanks, but Sanskriti School goalee Zamir was excellent under the bar to thwarat sure - shot goals. Zamir received man of match award from DSA senior vice-president N. K. Bhatia.
Earlier, Delhi Public School, Noida scored a 2 - 0 victory over Delhi Public School, Mathura Road in the 1st semi - final to set- up a summit clash with defending champions- Sanskriti School. Kuber Bisht and Kartik netted one goal ech in 20th and 37th minute. Kuber was adjudged man of the match Kick - off the final match is at 4.30 p.m. at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium.
