Uttarakhand: The Uttarakhand Basketball Association is organizing the 3rd Uttarakhand State Basketball Championship for Men and Women from 10th to 13th December 2012. Eighteen teams in both Men and Women from different ONGC,Uttarakhand Police,Universities,Districts and Sub-Districts of Uttarakhand State have confirmed their participation in this championship.
The championship will be played in a league cum knock out system. The UABA will selected probable players in both Men and Women sections during the championship for the 13 days Pre- National Coaching camp in preparation for the State team for participation in the 63rd National Basketball Championship to be held at Ludhiana from 28th December 2012 to 4th January 2013.
