Chennai: Hindustan Eagles handed a humiliating defeat to DBYC Kilpauk to win the St.Joseph’s–CFA first division league tournament. They thrashed DBYC Kilpauk 5-0 and registered a berth in the senior division league. R.Ranjith and Christian were the stars for the winning team scoring two goals each.

In another match, Indian Bank beat Arrows 2-1 to finish fourth. S. Kartik took the lead for the winners in the 37th minute. Valentine scored the equalizer for Arrows with minutes just left for the first half. But Indian Bank extended their lead through Useni’s header in the second half and eventually won the match to finish fourth.
