Chandigarh: Abhinav won the best athlete award in the boys’ 8-11 years category in the inaugural annual sports meet for mentally handicapped organized by Regional Institute at the sector-46 sports complex. Mahaveer won the title in the boys’ above 16 categories.

In the girl’s 8-11 categories Sheetal won the best athlete award, while Mary did it in the above 16 years.
The sports meet featured various sporting event like 50m, 100m and 200m races, fast walk and other entertaining competition.
