This is a must win match between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians which is why it is known as the eliminator. The team which wins the match will play against the loser of the qualifiers. Dwayne Smith: Smith so far has been in tremendous nick with the bat in hand and looks to be the player who can take the match away from the opposition within a matter of seconds. Smith is the man behind CSK getting off to a flying start in most of their matches and can come in handy with the ball in hand as well.

Suresh Raina: Raina so far has had a quiet tournament and would be looking to make full use of the opportunity of batting at the top of order against Mumbai Indians. In the absence of Brendon McCullum {if he is unable to make it for the match}, Raina has to take more responsibility in ensuring that CSK gets off to a decent start.

Ravi Ashwin: Ashwin has been a real star with the ball in hand for CSK and he would be looking to pick up wickets in order to stop the flow of runs during the middle stages of the match. The team has a history of doing well when Ashwin fires with his off-spinners.

Mohit Sharma: Sharma has done the job with the new ball for Mahendra Singh Dhoni and is among the highest wicket-takers in the tournament which definitely makes him one of the bowlers to watch out for in the match against Mumbai Indians.

Lendl Simmons: Lendl Simmons all of a sudden seems to have given Mumbai Indians an air of freshness as he keeps piling on the runs at the top of the order. He along with Hussey has given the Mumbai Indians a good start to the innings which has played a pivotal role in their come back in the tournament.

Rohit Sharma: Rohit Sharma is a class act but has not quite being able to click with the bat in hand in this tournament which has put a lot of pressure in the middle order. But given his talent it is just a matter of time before Sharma gets his form back and once he does it is a treat to watch.

J J Bumrah: Bumrah has been quite effective with the ball in hand and bowls a heavy ball. He has an unusual action which can work in his favour and also gets the ball to come back in a long way. Bumrah can pick up early wickets with the ball in hand which can peg back the

Harbhajan Singh: Bhajji is an experienced campaigner with the ball in hand and has a history of firing at the right time. Bhajji can bowl at any stage of the match and has the variations to fox the batsmen which he has done in more than a couple of occasions in the tournament. He has one of the best economy rates in the IPL and Mumbai Indians would be hoping that he comes good in the eliminator.
