Viru, Yuvi Eye Comeback Through Their Performance In Challenger Trophy

yuvraj-sehwagYuvraj Singh would like to carry on with his good form as shown in the series against West Indies 'A' where he looked in ominous touch in the upcoming Challenger Trophy starting with Delhi playing against India Blue in the opener.

Yuvraj showed glimses of brilliance against the West Indian 'A' side where he also notched up a century in the first match although India 'A' lost the series 2-1. Yuvraj would be looking to make a strong statement to the selectors by continuing the good work when he represents India Blue.

On the other hand another veteran Indian batsmen Virender Sehwag would also be looking to make a mark in the upcoming match. Sehwag who has been out of action ever since he was dropped from the Indian side has hardly had any cricket under his belt off late. It hasbeen almost six months since the time he has played competitive cricket and hopefully he would get back his lost form.

Viru had flown all the way to Chennai to practice in the MRF pace Foundation in the tracks which has a lot more bounce under the able guidance of Glenn Mcgrath. He has also been working hard on his fitness and looks a lot more hungry for runs.

Virender Sehwag and Yuvraj Singh are not the only attraction in the opening match of the Challenger Trophy. Virat Kohli, who would be coming back after a six week break, would like to get as much practice as possible under his belt before the important series against Australia where India plays seven one-day matches along with a T20.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar would also be in action along with Vinay Kumar and Unmukt Chand. Ashish Nehra whose international career is almost over would also be seen playing for Delhi.
