I played a small but very important innings…

The most memorable moment in my sporting career was when we won the cricket finals of Faculty Tournament against M.A Faculty in December 2011. I was playing for the B.A faculty. We won the toss and elected to ball first. They made only 99 runs in 20 over. Now it was our turn and our team started well.

In first 10 overs, our score was 54 for the loss of 2 wickets. But after that in getting another 10 runs, we lost our five wickets. My captain did not send me to bat on my permanent first down order. I was very frustrated by his decision. But suddenly my captain came to me and said he saved me for this situation. Now it was my turn and I started my innings with a boundary. I was playing without pressure and I handled the situation well. I played a small but very important inning of 28 runs. We won the finals after the 5 years, so it was very special moment for me.
