It was a memorable day…

I have been practicing shot-put for more than six years now. Last year in the Delhi State Championships, the distance I covered with my throw was 20.65m. This was a new record, which outstood the previous ones in India. Before stepping into the ring I just aimed at performing well. But I never thought that I will cover the maximum distance with my throw, which none of the players in India have ever achieved and that moment will remain itched to my memory for long. This I think is one of the most memorable moments of my sporting career. I’m currently Asian No.1 and 17th on the world rankings.
