Kolkata: Rohit Sharma seems to be in the form of his life. After hitting that double hundred at Chinnaswamy stadium against Australia in ODI series last week, the Mumbai batsmen made a dream a debut as he went on to score an unbeaten 127 on day two of the match against West Indies at Eden Gardens here on Thursday.
Happy about his Test ton in the very first match, Rohit Sharma said that he was glad to have managed the day and get the team to a good total. “I'm glad that I could manage the day and get the team to a good total. A Test hundred is always a special one and getting on debut was more special,” said Sharma.
“But it's another important day tomorrow. So let's hope it's a good one. There was a lot of pressure, as we lost five early wickets. When I get back to the hotel room and relax, then I'll look back on what I've done. I was very focussed and I wanted to do it and I am glad that I could manage something like that today," said Rohit Sharma.
