Australia to arrive on Oct 5 for the seven match ODI series

Mumbai: Australians are all set to travel to India for the seven match one-day series and a lone T20 which begins on the October 10. Australia have already announced their squad for the upcoming one-day series and would look to carry on their good form after winning the one-day series against Engalnd in their own den.

Michael Clarke has been named as the captain of the side but his availibilty for the upcoming matches is subject to his fitness as the Aussie skipper is nursing a back injury which might compel him to miss a couple of matches if not the entire tour.

The tour is scheduled to kick off with the only T20 to be played at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot on the 10th of October.

The first one-day starts from the 13th of October to be played at the Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium, Pune. The last match is scheduled to be played on November 2 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. All the matches will be day-night encounters between the two sides.

The Australians will have three days of practice at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai before leaving for Rajkot to play their first game.
