IPL-Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Rajasthan Royals: Players who can turn the tables in Eliminator

Rahul Dravid battle it out against Dale Steyn: A mouth-watering contestIt’s going to be a mouth-watering contest when the bowling giants of Sunrisers Hyderabad will come hard on the batting hulks of Rajasthan Royals in the Eliminator of Pepsi-IPL. It has been a roller coaster ride for SRH this season and with the likes of Dale Steyn, Amit Mishra and Shikhar Dhawan in some brilliant form they would be looking to finish it off in style. But it won’t be easy for the likes of Steyn and Mishra to take on Rahul Dravid, Shane Watson and Stuart Binny who have played some sensational innings in IPL-6. Rajasthan has been bit more consistent than Hyderabad but it’s all about what they do in those 40 overs of this must-win game.

Here we bring to you the players to watch out for in the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals

Sunrisers Hyderabad

Dale Steyn: Steyn will be coming quite hard on the opening duo of Ajinkya Rahane and Rahul Dravid who have been in brilliant form this season. His four overs can surely decide the fate of both the teams in this nail-biting contest.

Amit Mishra: Mishra has been a cog in the wheel for Sunrisers Hyderabad and would be looking to spell a magic with his spin bowling at Kotla. He can be really dangerous as he has that ability to keep challenging the batsmen with his wrong ones.

Shikhar Dhawan: Dhawan has played some match-winning knocks for SRH and would be looking to score good in this match too. He just needs to keep his calm rather than come too hard on bowlers at the initial stage.

Parthiv Patel: Patel has scored good amount of runs in last few matches and would be looking to grab this opportunity with both the hands. If he keeps a price on his wicket then he can be as dangerous as Dhawan. He has been quite good as a keeper too.

Hanuma Vihari: He has been a very bright prospect for his team in this edition of Indian Premier League and would be looking to take his team an inch closer to the glittering trophy of IPL with his performance in this do or die match.

Rajasthan Royals

Rahul Dravid: Dravid has played an instrumental role in bringing his team to the play-offs not just as a batsman but also as a leader as well. His captaincy has been at its very best, and add to that his fielding this season, it just makes him the best player in the Rajasthan’s outfit.

Ajinkya Rahane: Rahane has been brilliant with the bat and has played some match-winning knocks for his team. He has shown immense improvement in building his innings and for that credits goes to Rahul Dravid, “THE WALL”, with whom he has spent considerable time.

Stuart Binny: Binny has been sensational this season and has played some brilliant cameos while coming lower down the order. He smashed 40 runs in his last outing at Kotla and would be looking to do the same sorts of damage against the likes of Steyn and Mishra.

James Faulkner: He has been the leading wicket-taker for his team and would be looking to make the most of the fragile batting of Sunrisers Hyderabad. He just needs to finish off his overs by giving away few runs rather than going for 18-20 runs which he has been leaking in the second half of the league games.

Shane Watson: His all-round dexterity has added loads of strength to the Rajasthan Royals. He needs to keep his calm especially while batting because the longer he stays on the crease, runs will come more freely which will be what RR would be looking forward from him.
