IPL 6 Match No. 23: Players to watch out for in the match between RR and MI

rajasthan-vs-mumbaiRajasthan Royals are all set to take on Mumbai Indians in their next encounter at Sawai Man Singh Stadium, Jaipur. To make it a perfect thriller, Sachin Tendulkar and Dinesh Karthik, who are in brilliant touch with the bat for MI, are going to take S Sreesanth and Siddharth Trivedi who are in the best of forms in this season of IPL. Rahul Dravid and Shane Watson can change the course of the game as they have that ability to play the game at their pace and so do Lasith Malinga and Mitchell Johnson possess the same spell-bounding pace to run through the gates of these batting giants.

Here we bring to you the players to watch out for from the match between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Mumbai Indians (MI).

Rajasthan Royals (RR)

Rahul Dravid: Rahul Dravid is in brilliant run in this edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) and will be looking to continue his undefeated streak on home soil when he will take on the likes of Lasith Malinga and Mitchell Johnson. His captaincy has been a boon for Rajasthan Royals and if his pace battery clicks once again then MI will have to play out of their skin to win this match.

Shane Watson: Watson scored 32 runs in his last outing out of which 28 came in boundaries. This ability makes him the most dangerous player in the dug-out of RR. If he comes out all guns blazing then even Malinga will be having a hard time.

Siddharth Trivedi: Trivedi has been in chipping in with couple of wickets in almost every match that he had played till now. He keeps nagging the batsmen with his line of outside off-stump which makes him a quality bowler in this RR outfit.

Kevon Cooper: Cooper brings immense strength to the bowling attack especially in the death overs. He has that ability to keep coming in with back to back yorkers which can puzzle any batsmen.

S Sreesanth: Sreesanth bowled brilliantly in the last match and gave those early breakthroughs to his team. His ability to bowl with consistent pace of 130+ is a sign that he had regained his rhythm and would be looking it to make it big against MI with some extra pace.

Mumbai Indians (MI)

Sachin Tendulkar: Tendulkar played brilliantly in the last match and was looking at his very best. Though, he missed out on century but his ability to time the ball with sheer perfection can be an alarming sign for any bowler in the World Cricket.

Dinesh Karthik: Karthik has been in brilliant form this season and would be looking to make the most of this decent bowling attack. His ability to pace his innings according to his own will make him a trump card of Mumbai Indians. He has taken the responsibility by coming early to the centre and staying till the end.

Rohit Sharma: Rohit was looking in great touch in his last two matches and his brilliant form has given much more stability to MI’s middle order. His home-ground experience will surely help him when he will come out to bat at Jaipur.

Lasith Malinga: Malinga has always been the match-winner for MI and this time it will be no different. His ability to bowl those slow Yorkers and slow bouncers at times makes him much more unpredictable in death overs.

Mitchell Johnson: Johnson has been the pick of the bowlers in this season of IPL and against RR he would be looking to do so for one more time. Bowling to Watson is not an easy task but on the pitch which assist the seamers, it will be a great contest between these two Australians.
